Cottage. Probably C18 with large mid to late C20 extension at the rear.
Stone rubble rendered above first floor level. Low-pitched slate roof with
gabled ends and red clay ridge tiles. Projecting stack at right hand gable
end with rendered brick shaft.
Plan: Probably a 2-room plan cottage with a central entrance, the larger
right hand room heated from a gable end tack, the left hand room probably
originally unheated. In the mid to late C20 the 2 rooms were united into
one and a large extension was built at the back.
Exterior: storeys. Asymmetrical 2-windows south front. 2-light
casements with glazing bars, the first floor left hand casement is circa
early C19, the one below a later replacement. The ground and first floor
windows to the right have had their casements taken out for repair at the
time of survey July 1987. Doorway to left of centre with late C20 panelled
floor and late C20 glazed porch.
Interior was not inspected.
