Cottage. Probably C18; extended in late C20. Roughcast stone rubble.
Thatched roof with gabled end, the eaves are eyebrowed over the first floor
windows. Right hand gable end stack with rebuilt red brick shaft.
Plan: Appears to have a 2-room plan with a central entrance, each room
heated from a gable end stack; the right hand corner.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical front with 2 windows on the first floor
and 3 windows on the ground floor. The 2-light casements with glazing bars
are probably C19, but may be in original frames. Small circa early C19
fixed-light 4-pane window to right on the ground floor. Doorway to left of
centre with circa early C20 glazed and panelled door and C20 slated canopy.
There is a circa late C19 lean-to to outbuilding(garage) of a lower level
on the right end and behind on the rear right hand corner a late C20 flat-
roof extension.
The rear elevation was not inspected.
Interior: was not inspected but may retain some of its C18 or C19 joinery
and the plan may be unaltered.
