House, now 2 properties. Late C17 timber frame, much altered,
extended on S. Plastered, some exposed timber frame, slate and
old tile roof. 2 storeyed, L shaped group. N part (Bakers
Cross) has most old features. Exposed timber frame to 1st floor
with modern pargetting. Modern sash and casement windows.
Exposed framing inside, and good half-timbered rear elevation
with long diagonal braces. The Old Crown has modern leaded
casements to front, and bracketed moulded, door hood on N.
