Circa 1800 house of 3 storeys, attic and basement, 3 windows. Slated mansard
roof with 3 square headed dormers. Yellow stock brick. Stuccoed frieze with
Prince of Wales' feathers, moulded cornice and brick parapet. Gauged, flat,
brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars. Those on 1st floor
are longer and set in round arcading with stuccoed spring string and cill band.
One stucco rose in each tympanum. Round arched ground floor windows, in similar
arcading, have later, external louvred shutters. Deep, prostyle, quasi-Roman
Doric porch with feather capitals and bucrania at angles of frieze. Blocking
course and cast iron railings above. 3 steps, with wrought iron handrail, to
door of 6 fielded panels with flanking pilasters, side lights, cornice head
and decorative radial fanlight, all in plain reveal. Wrought iron area railings.
At back a large, round bay through all 3 floors.
