House. Late C16 and mid C18. Timber framed with later refacing and
additions in red brick with grey headers; dentil brick eaves cornice
to old tile roof, half hipped to left and hipped to right with end
stacks. One framed bay to left. 2 storeys; 3 bays, glazing bar sashes.
Segmental headed first floor sashes, those to right and left with
exposed wooden boxes; tall ground floor sash to right with Venetian
shutters, C19 canted bay with sashes and flat roof to left. Central
6-panelled door with radial fanlight. Interior: substantial remains
of one timber framed bay survive. B.O.E, Berkshire, p.70.
