Gate piers c1730 by Kent, moved to present position later C18. Large
rusticated piers with a semi-circular headed arch, carved coat of arms
in frieze pediment overall. Small outer pavilions added by Valdre.
Vermiculated quoins, and keyblocks. Ogee roofs with ball finials.
