Bandstand, 1903 by Lion Foundry Company of Kirkintilloch. Model number 23 from the foundry’s catalogue, a late-C19 design. Octagonal in plan. Brick base with iron Corinthian columns carrying elaborate ironwork with stars in the spandrels. Ogee-domed roof with weathervane. Timber soundboard below dome.
