House. C16-C17. Rubble stone, tiled roof with slate to rear of main wing.
Main E. wing with slightly smaller wing attached at right-angles to
NW corner. 2 storeys and attic. E. front has 3 bays with 3-light leaded
stone mullion windows with arched lights and hood-moulds flanking entry
with similar 2-light window above. Panelled door, half-glazed with
rectangular barred fanlight above. N. wing has similar 3-light windows
to E. gable attic and first floor of street front, 2-light to ground floor
left and barred C18 sash window to right. Rear angle has C18 brick lean-to,
partly chequered, extended C20. Door in angle is 6-panelled and half-
glazed with patterned glazing bars in rectangular fanlight and stone lintel
with keyblock. Similar lintel over sash window to rear of N. wing.
N. wing has stone stack with brick top to W. gable, E. wing has thin brick
stack to N. gable. Interior: chamfered beams, chamfered and stopped cross
beam and joists to S. ground floor room, moulded doorcase on first floor.
