Accommodation lift-bridge. L C18 origins, C19 and C20 alterations.
Tilting, wooden plank deck with wooden hand rails and two balance
beams set at a raking angle. Brick abutments with concrete sills.
Brick wing walls with trailing edges and stone rubbing blocks on faces
to canal. One of an important series of Oxford Canal lift-bridges, of
a type now rare in England.
