House, now part of old people's sheltered housing. c1840
incorporating part of probably C17 farmhouse to rear. Brick
with ashlar dressings; tile roofs with brick end stacks. 2
parallel ranges. Georgian style. 2 storeys; symmetrical
3-window range. Wide eaves and verges. Entrance in brick porch
with cornice and scrolled cresting, entrance with moulded
surround and 6-panel door and flanking round-headed lights.
Windows have sills, and wedge lintels over 12-pane sashes, but
1st floor right end has top-hung casement. Right return has
2/4-pane and 4/8-pane sashes. Rear has 2-window range; central
entrance with C20 porch; windows with brick flat arches over
16-pane sashes. INTERIOR: rear range has stop-chamfered beams
and joists.
