Late C18 house and shop incorporating the wall frames of an
early mediaeval building. Two storeys and attics. Rendered
timber-frame and rendered brick street facade. Plain tile roof
with tall central ridge stack. Two first floor three light hung
sash windows with glazing bars, one similar window to right hand
of shop doorway and one smaller sash window to left hand.
Doorcase with panelled reveals, plain pilasters, corner bosses
and projecting cornice. Main house entry from the churchyard.
Interior has some original C18 details, C19 shop shelves and
drawers. Some exposed timber frame of earlier building.
