GV II

Late C17 vicarage built by Barnabas Oley (b.1602, d.1685),
vicar, and restored c.1812. Two storeys with basement to north
facade, symmetrical, double pile plan. Red brick; plain tile
hipped roof with double row of saw-tooth bricks at eaves
cornice. Three first floor and three ground floor tall late C19
replacement casement windows. Central doorway approached by
stone steps. C19 open porch with flat roof and half-glazed
panelled door in wooden frame. Interior has original staircase
with splat balusters moulded rails and square moulded newels,
and moulded ceiling beams.
