The Poplars
II
House. Early C18. Brick. Low-pitched slate roof. Eaves cornice
of sawtooth brickwork. Stone gable copings. Brick end stacks.
Two storeys. 3-bay symmetrical facade. Central door with 6 fielded
panels and overlight with gothic glazing bars. Small wooden hood on
moulded brackets. Either side single 16-pane sashes, with raised
sills, stuccoed lintels with raised keystone. Small wooden hoods
have been added. Three 16-pane sashes to 1st floor with moulded case.
Lower 4-bay wing at rear at 90°.
