Farmhouse, now house. Early C17 with later C17 rear wing. Coursed limestone
rubble; hipped stone slate roof with moulded kneelers to stone-coped gables to
right and rear; left end stack of stone finished in brick and stone end stack to
rear. L-plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys; one-window range. Old plank door
set in C17 chamfered segmental-arched doorway. C17 two- and 3-light
cavetto-moulded stone-mullioned windows with leaded-lights and iron opening
casements. 2-light leaded casement to rear. C19 one-storey service range to left
of similar materials with brick end stack. Interior not inspected but noted as
having C19 shutters and cased beams, and old beam and blocked fireplace with
bressumer in rear room. Sited on edge of ancient wood and adjoining "ridge and
furrow" fields enclosed in early C17.
