House. Late C18. Cement render over red sandstone rubble walls with raised
quoins. Graduated greenslate roof with coped gables and kneelers; banded red
sandstone chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays with contemporary rear 2-bay
extension in L-shape under common roof. Central C20 door in pedimented doorcase
with rusticated pilasters. Sash windows with glazing bars in raised stone
surrounds; a large round-headed staircase window left of entrance; right
ground-floor windows blocked and replaced by early C20 sandstone canted bay
window. Rear off-centre top-glazed panelled door in pedimented pilaster
doorcase. Sash windows with glazing bars, one in extension double. Lower
extensions are not of interest.
