House. Probably late C18; altered. Brown brick in English
garden wall bond, stone slate roof (now felted). Rectangular
plan with angled rear wing at right-hand end. Two storeys with
3 widely-spaced windows at 1st floor. The ground floor has a
doorway in the centre with a pedimented wooden surround and a
glazed and panelled door, and one window to the left and 2 to
the right, all with raised sills and wedge lintels and now
furnished with top-hung casements imitating sashes without
glazing bars; the 1st floor has similar windows with raised
sills and similarly altered glazing. Moulded wooden cornice to
the eaves. Gable chimneys and one ridge chimney. Small lean-to
attached to right-hand gable wall. Rear: windows with altered
glazing, including stair-window.
