Workshops associated with model dwellings. 1865. By Henry
Darbishire. Twelve workshops arranged in symmetrical blocks of
four. Nos. 1-4 adjoin Peabody House, Nos. 5-12 arranged in a
terrace opposite. Stock brick and slate hipped roofs. Each
block comprises two storeys with two workshops per floor. Each
workshop has a central double door with a single 8/8 sash or
sash type window to each side with round-arched opening to
yard. This is a as rare example of workshops attached to model
dwellings erected for the Peabody Trust.
