House, now shop. c1870 with c1930 alterations. Thin courses of
squared stone with ashlar quoins and dressings; Welsh slate
roof with yellow brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 4-window range.
Full-width ground floor shop front has central recessed glazed
door and plate glass windows; ashlar end pilasters and
full-width corniced fascia with applied Roman capital letters:
`WILLIAM PEAT'. Canopies on folding wrought-iron stays.
Irregularly spaced plain sashes above, the left wide and the
central pair narrow, have flat stone sills and lintels.
Alternate-block jambs to central sashes. Roof has tall end
chimneys with dog-tooth cornices, and small flush roof lights.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
