Inn, now houses. Early C18, re-roofed C19. Limestone rubble
and dressings, render, stone rear chimneys, pantile hipped and
gable roofs. L-shaped double-depth plan. 2 storeys, attic and
basement; 5-window range. Gabled 3-storey cross-wing projects
second from left, to the front and back, with a massive
segmental-headed lintel and 2-leaf half-glazed door, flanking
side niches and a carved C17 panel above with 3 figures and a
cartouche; segmental-headed windows to 6/6-pane sashes; 2
dormers to the right have tilting casements; C20 gabled porch
second from the right has a C20 door; cusped C19 bargeboards
to the gables and dormers. To the left is an attached,
rendered C18 house with a central door, metal casements to the
left, and above a cambered head to 8/8-pane sash; half-hipped
roof. INTERIOR not inspected.
