Farmhouse. C17 or earlier altered and extended in C19. Built
of Isle of Wight stone rubble with tiled roof and 3 brick
chimneystacks. 2 storeys 5 windows. Left hand part has C17
core. 1 gabled dormer with bargeboard and pendants. 2
2-storeyed C19 projections with 6-pane sashes. Central 1st
floor mullioned window and gabled weatherporch with
round-headed opening with brick lining. External stone
chimneystack to left hand side. Deep plinth. Casement windows
to rear, one in C17 mullioned surround, and C19 outshut. Right
hand side, probably a C19 addition, has 2 3-light casements
with hood moulding to ground floor windows.
