House, formerly used for the holding of church ales. Early C17
with porch added in early C18, refronted in C19 and
refenestrated in C20. Built of Isle of Wight stone rubble with
mainly ashlar quoins, but brick to rear right hand side. Tiled
roof with brick chimneystack and brick porch. Lobby entrance
house. 2 storeys 4 windows. Deep moulded plinth. Windows are
mainly C20 3-light casements but 1st floor retains 2 earlier
casements. C18 gabled brick porch opposite chimneystack, with
tiled roof, cambered arch and 2 blocked in cambered arches on
the sides. The porch obscures an earlier stone mullioned
window of which part is visible. Early C17 3 panelled studded
door in moulded architrave.
