House, said to have originated as a farm building with later
conversion to cottages. Plastered cob or stone, partly rebuilt
in block; asbestos slate roof gabled at ends. Probably C18 or
earlier in origins, thoroughly repaired and partially rebuilt
in the late C20.
PLAN: Single-depth main block with central entrance.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front. Recessed
2-leaf half-glazed front door. 2 ground and 3 first-floor
timber 2- and 3-light casements with glazing bars.
INTERIOR: Not seen on survey but 1975 list description refers
to chamfered cross beams and exposed wall posts. Roof said to
be entirely C20
HISTORY: Adjacent to Manor Farmhouse (qv) and probably part of
the same property at one time.
