Pair of attached houses. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar, lateral
and party wall stacks and a pantile hipped roof. Double-depth
plan. Each of 3 storeys; 2-window range. A symmetrical front
has ends, with doorways, set back, first-floor plat band and
second-floor sill band, and overhanging eaves.
Semicircular-arched doorways with moulded surrounds, the
left-hand one with a C20 porch, right-hand one blocked with a
C20 window, and C20 doorway in the right return. Middle
section has tripartite ground-floor windows with 6/6-pane and
flanking 2/2-pane sashes, architraves and cornices to first
floor, 4/4-pane sashes, and 3/3-pane second-floor sashes; end
blocks have plain surrounds to the windows, 6/6-pane sashes
and 3/3-pane second-floor windows. INTERIOR not inspected.
