House, mid C18. 2 storeys, 5 windows. Red brick, formerly colourwashed; a
band at 1st floor level. Plaintiled 2-span roof with internal end chimneys of
red brick. Sashes with flat arches of gauged brick; flush frames, small-pane
sashes with thick glazing bars. Good entrance doorway: 6-panelled door, the
panels sunk with egg and dart enrichment, the broad architrave is moulded and
similarly enriched. Projecting from the architrave is a carved human head,
and above is a dentilled pediment. The rear elevation has at the upper floor
a pair of Venetian windows, original but alterea for early C19 sashes.
Double-pile plan.
