Farmhouse. Dated 1668. Coursed gritstone with massive quoins. Gritstone dressings. Stone slate roof. Moulded stone copings and kneelers to gables. One C18 gable end stack. Set of four diamond section stone stacks in centre of ridge.
Two storeys, T-plan with porch in eastern angle. East elevation-advanced two storey gabled porch with moulded copings and kneelers. Central door with massive shouldered lintel. To south five-light mullioned and transomed window. To north on projecting wall next to porch a four-light mullion window. Further to north, gable wall has one inserted window with modern casement and lean-to porch. Above in porch three-light chamfered mullion window with lintel inscribed 'HM 1668 IH'. South side of porch has small single light semi-circular headed window. To south similar mullioned and transomed window as below. To north on projecting wall similar four-light window. Further to north on gable wall two two-light chamfered mullion windows. Single light semi-circular headed window with curved sill in gable of porch. West elevation drastically altered in C19 and C20. Evidence for mullioned and transomed windows in gable wall.
Interior: kitchen has elaborately moulded beam with relief design carved on. Other beams ovolo moulded. Large arched fireplace in dining room.
