GV II

3 houses with knitters' workshops, now 3 shops. Early C19,
with late C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone, the front
painted, with painted stone dressings and slate roof with 2
ridge stacks, one rebuilt in brick. Plinth and eaves band,
projecting painted stone surrounds to windows.
3 storeys; 3-window range arranged 2:1, with two 12-pane
sashes to left and a similar sash to right. Above, three
9-pane sashes similarly arranged. Below, 3 late C20 shop
fronts, the left one rendered, both outer fronts with plain
rendered doorcases. Right gable has a central segment-headed
8-pane casement, and above, to right, a 3-light Yorkshire
sash. Rear has three 4-light knitters' windows, partly
reglazed, to the second floor.
