Wall and gate piers to Churchyard of
St John the Evangelist

GV II

Churchyard wall and gate piers. 1856. Coursed squared stone
wall with gabled coping, approx 150m long. Central pair of
square ashlar gate piers with stepped gabled caps with
trefoils. Wrought-iron gates, 1956. At the east end, a similar
pair of gate piers, and another adjacent pair with moulded
flat caps. Included for group value.
