House, divided into 2 properties. Late C18. Colourwashed
brick. Roof of black-glazed pantiles. South-west front of 2
storeys in 3-window bays at first-floor level. Ground floor
lit through 2 mid C19 3/3 sashes right and left of entrance
door. The sashes have gauged skewback arches. Door is
6-panelled, the upper 2 panels glazed under a plain overlight.
Panelled reveals. Plain timber doorcase supports a pair of
consoles under a flat hood. Ovolo-moulded platband at first
floor. 3 late C20 replica 3/3 first-floor sashes. Dentil eaves
cornice below gabled roof. Internal gable-end stacks. Abutting
the north-west gable are 2 late C19 additions, the first of
which is a 2-storey block under a gabled pantile roof:
half-glazed door to right, one C20 two-light casement left
under a segmental head; one C20 two-light casement over door;
internal gable-end stack to north-west. Abutting this is a
range of one storey and dormer attic with a hipped pantiled
roof, now a separate house (The Nest). North-west return is
entrance front: C20 extensions and details. Stack in
north-west roof slope.
