Cottage, attached to rear right of No.7 (qv) and representing
a later phase of building. Probably late C18. Colour-washed
cob, thatched roof with brick stack to left at junction with
No.7. Two-unit central-entry plan.
2 storeys; 2-window range. Late C19 casement windows, hipped
thatched porch over central door.
INTERIOR: the ground-floor room has 2 stop-chamfered beams and
an open fire with a timber lintel to the left of the right end
with a spiral staircase to its right. The 3-bay roof has the
diagonally-set ridge purlin set into principal rafters;
tenon-jointed purlins.
