A late C18 stuccoed building. 3 storey. 3 window range, double-hung
sashes, without glazing bars, in stucco architraves. On the 1st storey
the outer windows have stucco cornices and the central window has a
semi-circular arch with shell-ornamentation. The ground storey has
C20 shops. Roof slate, with a modillion eaves cornice.
Nos 7, 8,13 & 15, Golden Lion Hotel, Town Hall & Post Office form a group.
