Pair of attached houses. c1892. By Henry Dare Bryan. Snecked

brick ridge and gable stacks and a concrete tile half-hipped
roof. Double-depth plan. Queen Anne style. Each of 3 storeys;
3-window range.
A symmetrical pair has paired gables projecting from the
centre, with stone-framed ground-floor mullion and transom
casements, and first-floor mullion 9/1-pane sashes. Doorways
have cartouches either side and in the lintel, which curves up
into the mullion overlights, and battened 2-leaf doors.
Bracketed canopies extend either side of the gables, over the
doorways, to canted cross-window bays; the gables have 3-light
ground- and first-floor windows, tile-hung second floors with
canted oriels on brackets, and timber-framed overhanging tops;
outer paired first-floor sashes, and shallow dormers. INTERIOR
not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front garden walls and piers
