3 houses 1830s. Brick with stone dressings, slate roof. 3
storeys with basement, 3 bays to each house. Basement lintel
band; 1st floor sill band; top frieze, cornice and blocking
course. Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed with
glazing bars, one blind 2nd floor window to each house.
Entrances have Ionic porches, that to Nos 55 and 57 are
paired, with 3 columns. Iron railings to areas and steps
have decorative heads. No 53 has 2 iron balconies to 1st
floor.
