House in row, with shop. Early C19. Flemish bond brickwork,
tile roof, brick stacks.
3 storeys, 2-windowed. 16-pane sashes with brick voussoirs and
stone cills. Ground floor has multi-pane C20 shop front under
a small moulded cornice with lead flashing, continued over
6-panel door to right with radial fanlight, on 3 stone steps,
in pilaster case and open pediment. Blocked opening to cellar.
2-course brick string above first floor, coped parapet
conceals parallel hipped roofs, with 2 brick stacks to right
gable.
Return wall, in Post Office Lane, is in painted brick, with a
central light at each level, and at ground floor a further
window and a door. Back has replacement 12-pane sashes, and a
door to a glazed wing. INTERIOR not inspected.
