House and shop, and attached workshops to right. Early C19.
Incised stucco, slate roof to house and shop, pantiles to
workshop; stepped stone copings and brick stacks to gable ends
of houses, ridge stack to workshop. Double-depth central
staircase plan. Shop, now with recessed blocked-up door, once
occupied ground-floor room to the right.
2 storeys, 3-window range. Door frame set back; C20 six-panel
door under overlight with 2 glazing bars. All windows are
original 8/8-pane sashes, except early C19 shopfront to the
right which has slender pilasters, simple cornice and fixed
2-light windows with 4 panes each.
Workshop with small dwelling to left. Double-depth plan.
Workshop: 2 storeys, 3-window range. Wide planked door to
right with 4-pane overlight. The ground floor has 2 fixed
casements of 2 lights with 4 panes to each. At first floor,
left window has a fixed light of 4 panes wide by 3 deep and to
centre and right, double versions of the same. Dwelling:
1-window range, later C19 four-panel door and 2/2-pane sash
windows with horns to right and above.
