House, 1605 on carved brick sunk panel in chimney. 2-cell lobby entrance plan;
2 storeys and attics, 4 windows. Timber-framed, rendered. Thatched roofs;
axial chimney of red brick with 2 diagonally-set square flues. Early C19
wrought iron casements. Boarded C19 entrance door. The right-hand block added
later C17. Rear 1½ storey service wing added C18; altered and encased in
flint rubble with red brick quoins C19. The main range has clasped-purlin
roof, wind braced, with stout cambered collars; original newel staircase in 2
stages behind chimney stack.
