Mill dam with weir, sluice gate, and mill race. Probably C19 in its present
form but may incorporate earlier features. Stone with cast-iron sluice gate
mechanism. Drystone construction incorporating natural outcrops of rock.
Sloping weir to left has wide, shallow, recess running full width at top.
Sluice gate on right is opened by cast-iron wheel on screw thread passing
through stone slab laid across mill race.
