Farmhouse. Probably mid-late C17 with later additions and alterations,
including late C20 restorations and range to rear. Pinkish-red brick in
English garden wall bond with pantile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays with single-
storey, single-bay range to right. 12-course plinth with remains of rubbed
brick copings to right side. End entrance a C20 double-glazed door in
reeded architrave. An 8-pane casement with round header arch. Late C20 12-
pane tripartite sash under wedge lintel. Remains of first-floor rubbed
brick band. Outer bays have 12-pane tripartite sashes, to centre an 8-pane
casement, all under wedge cement lintels. Modillion eaves band. Brick
copings. Ridge and end stack. Tumbled-in brickwork to gable ends. Left
gable end shows evidence of wide square openings, to gable a casement window
under segmental arch. To right gable end, first floor, a 54-pane, 3-light
Yorkshire sash. Partly-blocked pitching door to gable end. Range to right
has casement window. Interior has exposed elliptical arch of former
inglenook fireplace to rear wall, at left. A chamfered beam with run-off
stops to right, ground floor.
