2 shops, formerly shop and dwelling, the latter now offices.
Late C18/early C19 with older origins, later extensions and
C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with front of red
brick in Flemish bond with flared headers, slate roof and
brick end stacks. 2-unit plan originally. 2-storey, 3-window
range. Pilastered wood shop front to ground floor, probably
early C19, altered C20 with doors to left and right of centre,
which have overlights, panelled reveals, and reeded wood
surrounds with paterae to top angles. C19 horned and quartered
sash windows to 1st floor, unevenly spaced with gauged brick,
flat-arched heads. Cogged brick eaves. Right side wall of
coursed rubble has similar sash at attic level with wood
lintel.
Lower 2-storey, 1-window wing to left with C20 shop front to
ground floor and similar sash window to 1st floor with wood
lintel. 2-storey wing to rear right of red brick with slate
roof and brick end stack, continued by 1 storey and attic wing
with plain-tile roof and dentilled brick eaves; further
1-storey extension with slate roof.
