Terrace of 2 houses, formerly 3, at end of row. Early C19.
Rendered on brick, slate roof.
3 storeys and basement, 2+2-windowed. 16-pane sashes at first
and second floors, behind decorative wood trellis and
balconies to paired vertical supports through 2 storeys,
close-railed balcony fronts, partly replaced to No.3. Ground
floor to No.1 has square 4-pane sash above a basement sash,
and No.3 has two 4-pane sashes with partly concealed basement
light. Left is arched opening with architrave on 4 stone steps
to part-glazed C19 door in architrave; centre a 6-panel C19
door in architrave on 5 steps, then far right, part-glazed
door on 4 steps, to former throughway. Deep flat eaves soffit
with series of dropped decorative 'spikes'. Brick stack right
of No.1 and centre to No.3.
Return, left, cement rendered, has two 12-pane sashes, and
curved corner into Chance Street at ground floor. Back has
wings, longer to No.3 than to No.1, with large stack in
valley, and three 16-pane sashes at first floor. INTERIOR not
inspected.
