Terraced houses. c.1850. Developed by Henry Rydon. Yellow
brick set in Flemish bond, stucco, roof obscured by parapet.
Three storeys over basement, two windows each. Basement and
ground floor stuccoed, the ground floor decorated with banded
rustication. Steps up to flat-arched entrance with overlight;
door with two tall panels to nos 40 and 43. All windows
flat-arched with moulded stucco architrave and cornice on
consoles to first floor, moulded stucco architrave only to
second floor; 6/6 sashes, with margin lights to ground floor,
to nos. 40 (second floor), 42-43 (ground floor), 45, 46 (first
and second floors). Cast-iron railings to steps and area.
