Built as a Market Hall, now converted into public lavatories. Probably
C18, refaced and much altered in C19. 2 storeys. 3 windows. Faced with
Roman cement, enriched with terra cotta ornamentation in the string course,
frieze below the modillion cornice and in the pilasters flanking the first
floor windows. Pediment over. Multi-paned windows on the first floor. The
ground floor probably had an open arcaded ground floor originally, but this
had been subsequently filled in with round-headed windows.
