Manse, No 10
GV II*
Manse, now house. c1800. Built as part of the Moravian
Settlement. Red brick with painted stone dressings and slate
roof with brick coped gables, gable brick stacks and sawtooth
eaves band. Three storeys and three bays. Central glazed
panelled door with divided overlight below a rusticated wedge
lintel with double keystone. The door is covered by a lattice
work porch with leaded 3-sided ogival roof. To either side are
glazing bar sashes, also under rusticated wedge lintels with
double keystones. Three similar sashes above, and above again,
two smaller glazing bar sashes under thin lintels with a painted
blocked window between. Interior has stick baluster staircase
and panelled doors.
