House, now 2 dwellings. Probable later C17 front range with late C18-early C19
additions to rear and remodelling. Timber-framed pebbledashed in panels with plain
tile roofs. Brick stacks. Remodelling in Gothick style. 2 storeys. Front range:
3-cell lobby-entry. Gabled porch. Ogee-arched casement windows and two small case-
ments of c1985. Central stack. Hipped roof. Garden front: front range incorporated
into symmetrical composition of 5 bays with central slightly-recessed entrance bay.
Doorcase with pilasters, open pediment and pointed fanlight. Pointed 2-light windows
with Y-tracery throughout. Each part separately hipped-roofed. Interior, front range:
Framing including jowled posts and wall plate exposed. Blocked 4-light mullion window
to studded rear wall. Rear range: Late C18-early C19 features include wall niches
and dentilled cornice. 6-panel doors and plain pine staircase with ramped handrail.
