Quay walls, steps and bollards. c1809. By William Jessop.
Pennant ashlar and cast-iron. Surrounding walls to the basin
and its locks, extending out of S lock approx 100m each side
along the New Cut, with mooring bollards and capstans set
beside them. Part of Jessop's design for the Floating Harbour,
completed in 1809. New landing stages in the Cut by the
entrance to Bathurst Basin were built in 1852.
