Cottage. Probably C18. Plastered cob on stone rubble footings; stone rubble or
brick stacks with plastered brick tops; thatch roof.
2-room cottage facing south-west with central through-passage containing the
staircase. The left (north-western) room has a rear lateral stack and the right
room has a projecting end stack. 2 storeys.
Irregular 3-window front of C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars. The front
doorway is slightly right of centre and contains a late C19 plank door with
contemporary tiled and gabled hood on shaped raking brackets. Roof is hipped to
left and gable-ended to right. The right end projecting stack has weathered
offsets.
Interior shows mostly the result of C19 and C20 modernisations. No structural
timbers show. The beams have either been removed or covered over. The fireplaces
are blocked. Roof not inspected.
