The Priory
II
House. Early C19. Red brick with hipped plain tile roof and two lateral brick
stacks. Dentil eaves cornice. Three storeys. Symmetrical three bay south elevation
has a central late C19 flat-roofed porch with pilasters and low parapet.
Doorway with wedge brick lintel, panelled door and rectangular overlight. Flanked
on each side by glazing bar sashes under wedge brick lintels. Three similar but
slightly smaller windows above, and three similar but smaller windows above again.
The interior has an open string stick baluster staircase. Adam Style chimneypieces
in the ground floor rooms.
