House. C17 or earlier, with additions of 1970s. Ground floor painted
brick, first floor hung with banded plain and fishscale tiles. Plain
tile roof. Present rear elevation: 2 storeys. Roof hipped to left.
Red and grey brick ridge stack to left of centre and projecting brick
stack to right gable end. Irregular fenestration of 3 gabled through
dormers with cross windows; one to left and two to right of stack.
Two canted bay windows to ground floor. Half-glazed door with flat
bracketed hood under stack. Rear wing to left with painted brick
ground floor, banded plain and fishscale tiles to first floor, and
half-hipped roof. Longer gabled rear wing in similar materials,
behind stack. Even longer rear wing to right, with plain tiles to
first floor, ridge stack towards centre, and half-hipped plain tile
roof. Late C20 addition to right in similar materials, the section
nearest the main range built as flush gabled cross-wing but with
deeply-recessed ground floor wall: one six-light mullioned and
transomed window to gable and one eight-light mullioned and transomed
through dormer to right. Gable to right end. Interior not inspected.
