Toll house, now house. 1842 datestone. Roughcast render with
granite dressings including plinth, 1st-floor sill band and
quoins at the front and to porch; dry Delabole slate roof with
projecting eaves rafters; rendered stacks; lateral stack on
the left and rear gable stack. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys with
1st floor partly in roof space. Road front has 6-pane horned
sash over 4 stepped lights to ground floor; 2-light wing set
back on right and porch, with front sidelight, in the angle;
porch doorway with shouldered head; C20 door with overlight.
left-hand return has 1st-floor gabled dormer with 4-pane
horned sash over similar ground floor sash on the left;
central stair light with round head over sill band and pair of
lights on the right. All lights have dressed granite frames;
moulded imposts to round arches and sill brackets. INTERIOR
not inspected.
