House in row. Mid C19. Rubble, slate roof. Two storeys,
1-windowed. 4-pane sash above paired 4-pane sashes, the latter
under wooden lintel, possibly formerly shop front. To left a
6-panel part-glazed door with overlight. Brick stack right.
Plain gable to left, and deep pent extension to rear. Interior
not inspected. Subsidiary features: small stone-paved terrace
to front with rubble retaining wall capped by simple iron
railing, 4 concrete steps up to door. Recently restored, with
adjoining Nos 159/161 (qv) but in detail sympathetic to
original.
