Houses. Late C18/early C19. Brick; plain tile roof; brick end
stacks. 2-storeys and cellar; 3-window range: 2 late C19, 2/2
sashes, late C19, 4/4 sash, in broad cases. Entrances to
centre: No.2: part-glazed late C19, 6-panel door under simple
flat hood on plain pilasters; No.3: late C19, 2-leaf,
half-glazed door in panelled case, under moulded flat hood on
plain pilasters; to right, late C19 shopfront with blocked
doorway, having C20 cross-window, and to right, window with
glazing bars; simple moulded hood and fascia on plain
pilasters; two segmental arches over; storey band. Right
returned side has rendered gable with heavy purlins visible.
Rear: rubble with brick quoins and dressings; central 4/4
sash; flanked by 2/2 sashes, to right in altered opening;
central 6-panel door under moulded flat hood on narrow
pilasters, in altered opening; flanked by 6/6 sashes in
altered openings. Cambered oak lintel over cellar entrance, to
left. Nos.2 and 3 each have 1 roof dormer with metal casements
under lath and plaster gables. INTERIOR: C19 staircase with
plain balusters.
